November 22nd, 2011 Doctors Surgery, Trentham

We have been commissioned to build a sizeable extension to a doctor’s surgery in Trentham, near Stoke-on-Trent. We were involved in the early consultation process and produced extension designs in keeping with the existing 1940s architecture.

The project, scheduled to last 20 weeks, involves building a new, more spacious, reception area which will be more comfortable and relaxing for patients, along with a new consulting room which will be more efficient and, consequently, add to the levels of patient care provided. Including upgrading existing facilities to meet new infection control measures.

We have successfully completed all the ground works, concrete foundations and drainage. The DPC (damp proof course) is complete, and brick and block work is moving up to roof height. The contractor designed precast concrete floors which have now been installed.
